Job Description

Circle K Business Centre is looking for a new colleague to join our team as:

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Riga, Latvia

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Respond to queries from site managers, representatives of business units (BU) and/or external partners if required.

Check, prepare and process journal entries, based on information received from BU and other partners.

Answer questions from other Company units on processed financial records.

Perform periodical closing procedures.

Perform balance sheet account reconciliation and analysis, control cash flow from stations, resolve discrepancies and errors.

Handle audit requests.

Contribute to process improvement projects.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

University/College degree in accounting, economics or finance field.

Previous experience in accounting, finance or audit field.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office and willingness to learn new systems.

Excellent organizing abilities and attention to details.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to analyze things, and conduct investigations on discrepancies.

Fluent English language skills (oral and writing) to communicate with colleagues in Europe.
