Job Title: Accountant III
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Accounting Management and support team members in monthly close and reporting processesPrepare month-end close and ad hoc journal entries, calculations, analysis, and reporting for complex GAAP accounting transactionsReconcile complex general ledger accounts, research variances, and resolve discrepanciesAnalyze general ledger accounts to ensure proper accounting treatment and apply necessary monthly accrual adjustmentsPrepare accounting records and reports in alignment with GAAP, best practices, and internal policiesWork independently and as a team resource; serve as a subject matter expertPerform various accounts payable functionsAssist in preparing monthly financial statements, including cash flow analysisConduct variance analysis comparing financial results to historical and expected figuresCreate and prepare management reports; run ad hoc calculations and analysis as neededDemonstrate advanced problem-solving and resolution skillsSupport accounting projects; document and follow through on recommendationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams on project initiatives and accounting mattersAssist with preparation of audited financial statements, footnotes, and external reportingContribute to budget, forecast, ALCO, and regulatory reporting processesParticipate in financial and operational audits and regulatory examsIdentify and implement continuous process improvementsProvide consistent and timely updates to manage expectationsEnsure compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesSkills:
