We’re hiring a detail-driven **Accountant** to support day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate, timely reporting across multiple entities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, enjoys a variety of tasks, and brings a strong foundation in general accounting principles.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Prepare and post journal entries
+ Reconcile daily/monthly transactions and maintain general ledger balances
+ Process accounts receivable/payable, cash receipts, credit invoices, and rebates
+ Monitor customer accounts, manage collections, and resolve discrepancies
+ Maintain daily cash activity and assist with monthly/year-end close
+ Support tax compliance by managing exemption certificates and generating sales tax credits
+ Manage customer setup, credit approvals, and vendor portals
+ Track inventory, compile sustainability data, and maintain accurate records
+ Coordinate with internal teams and respond promptly to vendor and customer inquiries
+ Identify and recommend process improvements
**Qualifications**
+ Solid knowledge of general accounting practices
+ Proficiency with creating and presenting financial reportsStrong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
+ High level of professionalism, discretion, and time management
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively
+ Excellent communication and customer service skills
