Job Title: Accountant Job Description We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Accountant to join our team. This role is crucial for the successful implementation of Alliant Royalties software, ensuring seamless integration and functionality through comprehensive testing and analysis. Responsibilities + Assist in the implementation of Alliant Royalties software, ensuring all financial data is accurately migrated and integrated. + Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate the software meets business requirements and functions correctly. + Perform parallel testing to compare the new system's outputs with the existing system, ensuring consistency and accuracy. + Develop and execute detailed task cases to test various scenarios and functionalities within the software. + Utilize Excel, including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables, to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and ensure data integrity. + Maintain thorough documentation of testing processes, results, and any issues encountered, providing clear and actionable feedback to the implementation team. + Collaborate closely with the IT department, software vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure a smooth implementation process. Essential Skills + Proficiency in accounting and general ledger management. + Experience with UAT testing and parallel testing. + Ability to perform task cases efficiently. + Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS. + Experience with journal entries and implementation documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. + 3 – 7 years of relevant experience. Work Environment The position is based at the corporate headquarters and requires on-site presence from Tuesday to Thursday, offering an excellent growth opportunity within a top employer in JAX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
