This role is replacing an accounting professional with **strong experience in inventory ($40 Million) and fixed assets** . This Accountant will be responsible for core general ledger activities, financial reporting, and supporting audits within a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Perform monthly general ledger close processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. 2. Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP. 3. Manage and track inventory accounting, including reconciliations and adjustments. 4. Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. 5. Support internal and external audit activities by preparing necessary documentation. 6. Assist with tax and regulatory reporting requirements. 7. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting. 8. Contribute to process improvements and assist with system upgrades or implementations. **Qualifications:** + **Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required** . + **6-8 years of accounting experience** ; strong focus on inventory and fixed assets. + CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus. + Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. + Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls. + Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. + Strong analytical and communication skills.
