Compensation: $30-40/hr+

A leading organization is looking for an Accountant to join their team and assist with general ledger work. Below are some qualifications desired for the ideal candidate along with the responsibilities of the role.

Job Description:

YTD General Ledger account analysisPrepare and post various journal entriesResearch and correct account discrepanciesReconcile and balance general ledger accountsAnalyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statementsMaintain the general ledger chart of accountsAssist with the evaluation of internal controlsPost monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals to General LedgerAnalyze Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable for variancesAssist with preparation of Financial StatementsAssist in month, quarter, and year end closing activitiesSupport financial and operational auditsMaintain files and documentation, in accordance with company policy and GAAPAssist with other projects as needed

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

4+ years of technical accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related fieldExperience within the manufacturing industryAdvanced user in excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, Macros are a plus)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
