Job Title: Accountant

Job Description

The Accountant will maintain a comprehensive understanding of GAAP, SEC regulations, and relevant company policies. This role involves leading special projects, researching and analyzing issues affecting the company, making recommendations, and ensuring resolutions. The position requires providing guidance to team members, ensuring the integrity of corporate financial data through appropriate internal controls, and preparing financial reports that comply with GAAP to accurately reflect the company's financial status.

Responsibilities

Lead special projects, including researching, analyzing, and reporting on company-related issues.Make recommendations for solutions and follow through to resolution.Provide guidance and direction to other team members.Ensure accounting integrity of corporate financial data through implementation of appropriate internal controls.Prepare financial reports in compliance with GAAP to accurately reflect the financial status of the company.

Essential Skills

Expertise in accounting and financial reporting.Proficiency in GAAP.Experience with journal entries and ERP systems.Ability to independently prepare schedules and journal entries.Strong oral and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

At least 5 years of accounting experience.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field with 4 years of accounting experience.CPA, CMA, MBA, or Master's in Accounting is strongly preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, focusing on accurate and timely financial reporting. The role requires interaction with various team members and departments. Dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
