Account Specialist
Commercial Sales Representative Job Description The Commercial Sales Representative will engage in sales outreach to both new and existing facilities, contractors, designers, distributors, and Ecommerce B2B accounts. This position will actively support and coordinate sales and marketing efforts for a portfolio of key product lines from the company’s headquarters. The role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Responsibilities + Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers using marketing campaigns, internal databases, online research, referrals, and other channels. Outbound prospecting is a key component. + Communicate the value and benefits of the product lines and how they align with the customer’s current offerings, projects, or facility needs. Actively promote and cross-sell across product lines, identifying upsell opportunities. + Manage a range of accounts, providing responsive support for product inquiries, technical questions, installation guidance, quotes, samples, and more. Regularly monitor account performance to ensure alignment with sales goals. + Conduct thorough research on leads and prospects to understand current and future sales opportunities, including project timelines, facility conditions, customer demographics, and distribution models. + Maintain accurate records across systems and documentation platforms, including CRM, NAV, order tracking, returns, promotional requests, customer overviews, and team documents. Proficiency in Excel is required. + Support project management efforts for accounts, the sales team, or broader organizational initiatives as needed. + Occasional travel may be required for tradeshows, client visits, and other business-related events. Starting rate of pay is $25/hour. There are work from home opportunities, once the candidate is fully trained (approximately 6 months into the role). Some overnight travel required, and nontraditional work hours may be necessary to attend trade shows and business events. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but varies depending on location. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
