Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Bogotá. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and grow through in person training in a collaborative team setting. Full in-office attendance is required during the initial training period, after which you’ll transition to a hybrid work arrangement. In person training will be required for future training sessions, with advance notice. Candidates should agree to this and are encouraged to discuss any questions during the recruiting process.
As the Account Representative Supervisor at Marsh, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the client experience by leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Account Representatives (ARs) to deliver exceptional service and achieve business objectives for our Client Service Team. This dynamic position combines strategic team leadership, performance management, resource planning, and active mentorship with hands-on responsibility for managing a select portfolio of client accounts. As an Account Representative Supervisor, you will also work alongside business leaders to provide centralized servicing with transparency and accountability across the client delivery lifecycle.
We will count on you to:
Contribute to revenue retention and growth by implementing insurance solutions that meet clients’ needs while providing support to client facing professionals within the team.Supervise, guide, mentor, and develop a team of Account Representatives to ensure role expectations, client service standards, and business objectives are met timely and accurately.Effectively coach and develop team members through regular feedback, performance check-ins, and input into annual performance reviews.Build effective relationships with business leaders outside of the Bogota site to provide service delivery excellence when supporting our clients. This includes leading and/or participating in stakeholder engagement sessions and work in partnership with client service teams to improve the client experience.Contribute to and oversee process improvement efforts within the team to increase efficiency.Manage staffing capacity, workload distribution, team workflows to ensure adequate coverage and build talent bench strength.Actively engage in the overall on-boarding process, including interviews of new hires up through the time colleagues are fully integrated into production.Directly manage a select portfolio of client accounts, performing key Account Representative duties as well as actively participate to cover on accounts when team members are on vacation or leave.Accountable for adoption and change management for firm-wide technological deployment or process changes.Foster a vibrant, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.Remain current by understanding and following all Marsh compliance, professional and transparency standards.Critical Competencies:
Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.Recommended 5+ years of professional experience, with at least 3+ years in insurance, financial, or professional services in an account management or a directly related client service role.Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team of client service professionals.Strong communication skills working with leaders across all levels, effective verbal and written communication is key.Very good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.What makes you stand out:
