Account Reconciliation Analyst - VMO
**Job Title: Analytics Specialist – Account Reconciliation Operations (Contingent Resource)** **Location: Charlotte - on site - W2 only, no Third Party applicants** **Pay Range: $38** **Job Description** We are seeking a detail-oriented **Analytics Specialist** to join the **Account Reconciliation Operations team** within Commercial Real Estate. This contingent resource will support internal money movement processes, general ledger reconciliation, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and accounting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data. **Key Responsibilities** + Participate in low to moderately complex analytics initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvement. + Review and analyze tactical assignments requiring research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. + Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex issues and exercise independent judgment while developing a strong understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. + Perform routine daily and weekly account reconciliations, and support monthly activities that may require additional due diligence. + Pull and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure account balances are accurate and cash flow errors are identified and remediated. + Provide structured information and support to client personnel. **Required Qualifications** + Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytics, accounting, or a related field. Equivalent experience through consulting, training, or military service will also be considered. + Strong understanding of general ledger reconciliation and financial reporting. + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, conditional formatting, filtering). + Familiarity with SharePoint (navigation and working with lists). + Experience using Outlook, including shared inboxes. + Commercial loan knowledge or experience is a plus. **Top Skills** + **Accounting & Reconciliation:** Ability to analyze reports, match general ledger entries, investigate transaction discrepancies, and resolve cash flow issues. + **Excel Expertise:** Confident in navigating spreadsheets and using advanced functions/formulas. + **SharePoint & Outlook:** Comfortable working within collaborative platforms and managing communications. + **Analytical Thinking:** Capable of identifying errors and proposing solutions with minimal supervision.
