Accounts Receivable Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable AR Invoicing and Cash Application Specialist to support our Accounts Receivable team. This role is responsible for generating customer invoices, applying incoming payments accurately, and ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience in AR processes, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
+ Generate and distribute customer invoices in accordance with company policies and billing schedules.
+ Apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit cards) to appropriate invoices in the accounting system.
+ Research and resolve unapplied or misapplied payments.
+ Reconcile customer accounts and follow up on discrepancies.
+ Communicate with internal departments and customers to resolve billing and payment issues.
+ Assist with month-end close activities related to AR.
+ Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions.
+ Support audits and provide documentation as needed.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Accounts Receivable processes.
+ Cash application.
+ Proficiency with accounting software.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or cash application.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
