We currently have an opportunity for a hybrid role as an Account Manager to join our Employee Benefits team.

About this opportunity:

The Account Manager (AM) will manage a book of clients that have 15-99 lives. The AM will market and prepare cost illustrations for Employee Benefits lines of coverage. The individual will have the ultimate responsibility for the assigned book of business and provide support to other team members for all 2-99 groups. Typical functions include client facing, public speaking, a mix of administrative work, benefit information preparation, and special projects as necessary.

In this role, you will:

Respond promptly and professionally to the service needs of clientsMarket coverage via RFP process, organize responses, and produce spreadsheets and other related items while verifying their accuracyWork with clients to deliver employee communications and open enrollment materialsSend clients monthly financial reports with commentsPrepare renewals, contact clients for updated information, create renewal proposals, and handle other renewal activities in coordination with the ConsultantProcess client renewal changes, such as new carrier implementation, adding new products, etc.Prepare meeting summaries and follow-up items, making sure all follow-up items are addressedPossess a detailed knowledge of the client’s business and industryEstablish and maintain strong and productive professional relationships with cognizant insurance carriers and key vendor partners, including a detailed familiarity with carrier and key vendor partner products and services in support of assigned clientsPossess a broad knowledge of insurance products and usages and ability to work independentlyMaintain required internal client filingsEnsure that all client service needs are promptly and professionally deliveredPossess a mastery of the various HUB resources and tools that are available via “HUB Today”Have knowledge about and comply with HUB systems, procedures, and state/federal insurance regulationsMaintain applicable licensing by participating in continuing educationPossess a strong ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing, which will include the ability to design and deliver effective group presentations using various media to the clientTravel to clients' sites for meetings around the state of PA

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience
