As Account Manager Diabetes Care, you will be responsible for the sustainable distribution of the embecta pen needle portfolio in your defined sales area (Berlin-Brandenburg). You will act as a strategic contact for diabetes specialist practices, diabetes centres, clinics, pharmacies, and other relevant stakeholders. Through well-founded account analyses, the development of sustainable customers and KOL relationships, as well as the consistent implementation of the sales and marketing strategy, you will make a significant contribution to embecta's regional and national business success. In this position, you will report to the Sales Manager Direct Sales, Germany. _RESPONSIBILITIES::_ + Strategic distribution of embecta's product portfolio in the field of diabetes care + Holistic care and further development of specialist practices, diabetes centres, clinics, and pharmacies + Systematic analysis of the assigned accounts, including derivation of individual sales and development strategies + Establishing, maintaining, and expanding sustainable relationships with decision-makers and opinion leaders (KOLs) + Independent area and resource management, including tour, visit, and budget planning + Implementation of national sales and marketing strategies at the regional level + Continuous market and competitive observation, as well as derivation of suitable measures + Use of different communication channels (personal, digital) for optimal customer contact + Structured documentation and reporting of activities in the CRM system + Close cross-functional cooperation with the other departments + Representation of embecta at regional and national congresses and professional events _EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:_ + Degree in natural sciences, business, or health sciences, or a comparable qualification (e.g., medical training, certified pharmaceutical sales representative) + At least 3 years of professional experience in the field, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical technology environment + Experience in the diabetes market or an adjacent indication is an advantage + Demonstrable sales successes in the product or system business that require explanation + Experience in the strategic development of accounts and customer networks _KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:_ + Very strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills + Ability to present medical, economic, and care-relevant added value in an understandable way + Analytical thinking and structured derivation of sales measures + High customer and service orientation combined with a focus on goals and results + Digital competence and confident handling of CRM systems and MS Office + Entrepreneurial mindset, high level of initiative, and resilience + Ability to work in a team and enjoy interdisciplinary cooperation + Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken + Willingness to travel within the sales area and a valid driver's license embecta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.  We do not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, age, sex, creed, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, marital or domestic or civil union status, familial status, affectional or sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetics, disability, military eligibility or veteran status, or any other protected status.
