We're seeking an experienced and strategic Account Manager to lead a comprehensive portfolio of work for a leading creative technology client. This role is ideal for a media-savvy professional with proven expertise in managing complex, high-profile accounts, driving strategic media relations, and delivering exceptional client partnerships. You will bring strategic vision to press office operations, mentor team members, identify growth opportunities, and act as the primary strategic partner to the client.
You will be responsible for running a pan-European hub as well as a proactive Press Office function, supporting integrated product campaigns, managing strategic product positioning and reviews, delivering innovative creative initiatives, and developing strategic content frameworks for multi-market campaigns.
What you'll do:
Act as the primary strategic contact for the client, playing a key role in developing and implementing integrated account activities Build and leverage deep understanding of the clients' business objectives, competitive environment, and market positioning to develop clear business cases around opportunities for engagement Develop and execute comprehensive, multi-quarter strategic media plans and outreach strategies to position the client as a thought leader with key journalists, influencers, and industry analysts Partner with cross-functional product and marketing teams to develop integrated media strategies that amplify campaign impact Lead the development and execution of innovative, high-impact press office initiatives to maintain brand thought leadership and sustained media visibility Active participation in the development of presentations for clients and new business opportunities Oversee and mentor junior team members, providing clear, progressive direction and career development opportunitiesWhat we're looking for:
Proven experience in PR, communications or media relations at a senior level (agency or in-house) Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or multiple significant product/brand portfolios Strong media contacts and relationships with consumer technology, business/enterprise technology, and lifestyle publications You thrive in a team environment, partnering with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders to drive success. You keep up with emerging trends in social media, influencer marketing, and media relations, applying them creatively to your strategies.
