Account Manager- Casualty Claims

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To support the Client Services discipline within the assigned office or region. 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES 

Assists with the assembly of contracts, renewal documents, and Client Service Instructions. 

Assists with the development of Stewardship reports. 

Provides ancillary support based on client or departmental needs. 

Participates in client meetings.  

Day to day client interaction  

Provides oversight of handling adjusters  

Responsible to ensure reserves, coding and reporting is up to date  

Complete file reviews, internal and client driven  

 

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES 

Performs other duties as assigned. 

Supports the organization's quality program(s). 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

Education & Licensing 

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major in Risk Management, Business Administration or Finance preferred. 

Applicable Adjuster Licensing  

 

Experience 

Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include five (5) years of adjuster experience. 

 

Skills & Knowledge 

Basic knowledge of insurance, casualty claims or business management 

Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills 

PC literate, including Microsoft Office products and Excel, PowerPoint  

Analytical and interpretive skills 

Strong organizational skills 

Excellent interpersonal skills 

Excellent negotiation skills 

Ability to work in a team environment 

Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

Compensation Information:
Salary Range: $55,000 - $75,000 annually

Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Sedgwick is committed to transparent and equitable pay practices.
