Account Manager

As an Account Manager for our PAY Business Line, you will drive the adoption of products and solutions for leading financial institutions across the Andean region and the Caribbean.
In this role, you will play a key part in securing the digital lives of millions of people by applying a consultative sales approach and positioning the Thales PAY portfolio as a strategic enabler for our customers’ business growth.

You will act as a trusted advisor to banking and fintech clients, positioning the Thales PAY portfolio as a strategic enabler for issuing, acquiring, and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

Drive consultative, value-based selling by deeply understanding customer strategies, challenges, and payment ecosystems.Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, business leaders, and stakeholders across customer organizations.Own end-to-end account management, including account planning, pipeline development, opportunity qualification, and deal execution.Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, contracts, and revenue collection, ensuring profitable and compliant growth.Expand existing accounts and develop new business opportunities within retail banking, payments, and fintech segments.Partner closely with internal teams (pre-sales, product, delivery, and support) to deliver seamless customer experiences.Track market dynamics, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence, translating insights into actionable recommendations.Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual targets for revenue, margin, and market share.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.5+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or Commercial roles within banking, fintech, payments, or IT environments.Strong background in consultative / solution selling to complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.Professional proficiency in Spanish and English (minimum B2 level).

Position Requirements

Willingness to travel across LATAM as part of a regional role.Colombian citizenship or valid work authorization.Hybrid work model, based in Bogotá.
