Account Manager

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Account Management team at Marsh. This role will be based in Urbandale, Iowa. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. 

This position is for a professional individual contributor focused on building strong customer relationships to maintain retention and provide a best-in-class customer experience. The role involves consulting customers on supported products, resolving issues, and collaborating with internal and external contacts to improve service and coverage offerings.

We will count on you to: 

Provide proactive daily client support by anticipating their needs and promptly addressing inquiries and concerns through phone and email communication.Review client loss experience and current coverage, recommending appropriate products and services. Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients and conduct annual reviews to identify cross-sell opportunities. Drive growth of assigned book of business and meet client retention goals. Ensure compliance with all regulatory, internal policies, and transparency requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. 

What you need to have: 

High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred. Minimum 2 years of client and customer service experience.    Prior insurance experience is a plus. Ability to obtain licensing in all 50 states within 90 days of hire. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to work an 8-hour shift within hours of operation (7 am – 6 pm, Monday - Friday).
