Job Summary

Responsible for prospecting new accounts, retaining existing accounts, and increasing opportunities with existing customers.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

Provides full service support for existing customer base in assigned territory including sales and delivery.Manages sales volume with an existing customer group and assists with prospecting to expand the customer base.Services, maintains and delivers orders to customers within assigned territory.Participates in pricing for assigned accounts.Works with OSR, but requires autonomous decision making for outside territory.Partners with customers, vendors, credit, and A/R to resolve customer service issues.Identifies customer products needs and consummates sales.Handles repairs as needed.

Nature and Scope

Works in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly defined problems. Demonstrates skill in data analysis and techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in routine research/data.Nature of work requires general supervision; exercises judgment. May be paired with a mentor. Work typically involves regular process checks or review of output by a coworker and/or supervisor.May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel.

Work Environment

Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Education and Experience

Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Certification may be required in some areas. Generally 0-2 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 0-1 year of experience in a related field.
