What we do:
You are responsible for all supply chain functions in support of the business unit, including; demand validation, purchase order creation, P.O management, delivery assurance and exception message management.

What you will do:
* Manage a portfolio of Key Suppliers to ensure uninterrupted flow of material to support manufacturing and customer on time delivery
* Review purchase requisitions against the master production schedule to validate demand
* Create or update P.O.s in accordance with requisitions and contractual requirements
* Expedite material as needed; negotiating and working changes within supply base through integrated product teams
* Define and implement a communication plan for represented customers, including status reports, status update calls, and a proactive supplier visit schedule
* Point of Escalation for Supplier Complaint Resolution
* Act as Voice of the Customer
* Implement and manage improvement plans flowing customer feedback
* Provide input through standard reporting tools and routes, e.g. S&OP
* Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas and methodology, in alignment with CORE Principles
* Value Steam efficiency improvements (Ad hoc projects)
* Provide support to the Customer / Project Team as and when required

Qualifications we prefer:
Essential Criteria:
* Prior relevant Customer or Supplier interfacing experience
* Prior supply chain experience (procurement, account management, commodity management, supplier performance, etc)
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability for developing and maintaining robust supplier relationships
* Experience in SAP
* Willing to travel and to work flexible hours to support communication across different time zones
* Ability to prioritize and manage owned tasks

Desirable Criteria:
* Customer or supplier contract management experience preferred
* Airline / Aerospace Industry knowledge preferred
* Previous experience in raw material, castings, or forgings
