Join our dynamic team as an Account Manager, a role that ideally suits individuals with a marketing experience, though it is not a strict requirement. This position is within the publishing sector and focuses on providing exceptional customer service and communication to authors and publishing partners. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, customer-centric, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
Effectively communicate with and support global authors and publishing partners.Partner cross-functionally with business teams to create new policies and processes for a better publishing experience.Represent authors' best interests at every step in the publishing process.Assist in sourcing and utilizing appropriate technology to enhance service provided to stakeholders.Essential Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with Salesforce.com and Excel.Experience managing a reactive, ticket-based request system.Ability to prioritize work effectively and efficiently.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required.2+ years previous experience in account management, customer service, relationship management, or publishing environment.Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.Experience in and/or knowledge of the publishing industry is a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience in prioritizing and multitasking.Experience in identifying opportunities to simplify or automate complex processes.Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.Work Environment
The role is based onsite in Seattle, WA, with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The position is part of a supportive and collaborative team, interacting with various business functions including PR, Marketing, Legal, and Design. The work environment is highly customer-centric, requiring collaboration with cross-functional and global teams to support author relations and connect authors with new readers.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
