Job Summary:
Tucker Mechanical, Inc., based out of Rocky Hill, has an immediate need for an Account Executive. This position will report directly to the Sales Manager and will be responsible for prospecting new accounts, providing new and existing customers with planned maintenance proposals, presenting clients with product services/information, maintain existing customer relationships and following through with each opportunity in a timely and professional manner. This position’s primary goal is to empower our customers with the best possible solutions for their business or organization. This role requires the ability to effectively present Tucker Mechanical’s services by phone or in person, relative to their building and mechanical systems. With our tailored sales process, this candidate will be able to meet the needs of the customer while creating a valued relationship built on trust.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Seek out and research prospective client opportunities and develop prospects within assigned market/territories through various methods. These methods include phone solicitation, personal visits, networking, attending industry conferences and leveraging existing relationships.Manage leads through analysis and solution-based programs to maximize sales growth, specifically in the Planned Maintenance realm.Build and maintain harmonious working relationships within Tucker Mechanical construction team to reveal and cultivate opportunities. Identifying customer needs and responding with solutions that Tucker Mechanical can provide. Confidently perform presentations in front of customers and potential clients.Develop, write, and review client proposal documents, including financial and technical sections provided within Tucker Mechanical’s standard template and pricing models.Develop sales within defined margin levels to attain market share while providing desired profit to the bottom line.Demonstrate a personal commitment to the growth and development as a professional.Customer Service: Providing the utmost care and attention to the client before, during and after the sale.Meet or surpass annual sales goalsConsistently creating and maintaining client relationships Manage and maintain customer relationships by being the first point of contact for assigned accounts.Independently prioritize and efficiently manage time Other duties as directed by the Sales ManagerQualifications:
High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical discipline preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in the HVAC commercial service industryMinimum of 5 years of successful sales or technical field experienceHonesty, integrity, and personal accountability must be the foundational attributes of all applicantsStrong communication, customer presentation skills and a demonstrated sales aptitudeSelf-motivated/self-disciplined Strong organizational skills are a mustComputer skills using MS Office and Excel are required Trainable, coachable, and a willingness to learn Team Player: Ability to work cohesively with co-workers and clients Must have the ability to remain courteous and kind during times of adversityHave a valid driver’s license and reliable transportationPhysical Demands:
