**What's the role?**
This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior, commercially minded Account Director to join **Medium Rare Content Agency** (a News Corp Australia–owned content and marketing agency) and play a pivotal role within **CommBank Connect** , Australia’s largest financial owned media network, which Medium Rare represents.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will own and grow a portfolio of key agency and client relationships, driving sustainable revenue growth and positioning CommBank Connect as a strategic, long-term media partner.
Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, you will leverage data, insights, and measurement to deliver integrated, results-driven media solutions across CommBank Connect’s premium asset suite.
**Responsibilities**
+ Own, build, and deepen senior agency and client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and capturing new business through strategic storytelling, insight-led proposals, and strong commercial acumen.
+ Drive revenue performance, delivering against advertising targets across CommBank Connect’s screen network, digital, print, and partnership assets, with clear accountability for pipeline management and deal execution.
+ Lead strategic collaboration across internal teams and external partners to develop integrated, high-value media solutions that enhance client outcomes and experiences.
+ Act as a senior client contact, influencing decision-makers and navigating complex stakeholder environments to secure long-term partnerships.
**Who are you?**
+ Proven senior sales professional with experience building, executing, and managing strategic account and business plans that deliver both revenue growth and high levels of client satisfaction.
+ Demonstrated track record of over-achievement, with strong negotiation, presentation, and commercial storytelling skills.
+ Strategic and solutions-focused thinker, able to listen deeply to client needs and translate them into best-in-class media solutions aligned with business guidelines, frameworks, and brand standards.
+ Trusted relationship builder, known for credibility, transparency, and a collaborative approach with clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
**What you will be able to do:**
+ Analyse complex client briefs and develop tailored, insight-led media strategies, managing end-to-end client engagement from pitch through to delivery.
+ Confidently interpret and apply data, insights, and measurement to shape channel recommendations aligned to brand objectives and campaign outcomes.
+ Partner closely with operations and delivery teams to ensure flawless execution, on-time delivery, and high-quality reporting across all contracted campaigns.
+ Track, monitor, and communicate sales performance, maintaining disciplined use of internal reporting systems to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and inform commercial decisions.
