Accessibility Specialist
**Job Title:** Accessibility Specialist (in person) 3-month assignment **Location:** Washington, DC **Pay Range:** $25- $30 per hour **What’s the Job?** + Assists with cross-divisional teams to produce pre-visit materials: + Pre-visit stories + Sensory maps + Ensure accuracy of accessibility brochures/web pages/etc. + Pre-show materials for high-sensory shows. + Help to ensure correct placement of physical affordances (arm rests, floor markers, tactile maps, keypads, tactile objects) **What is needed?** + 3 years experience in similar position + Understanding of the purpose and production of the following affordances: + Visual descriptions + Tactile affordances + Audio descriptions + ASL interpretation + Closed captions + Braille + Screen-reader compatible text + Sensory kits + Pre-visit stories + Experience writing visual descriptions preferred (experience writing guided descriptions is a plus but not a requirement). + Experience creating accessible materials preferred (this may include pre-visit stories, accessibility guides, sensory maps, or easy-read materials). **What’s in it for me?** + 401(k) + Free training + Referral bonusIf this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
