Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking an Accessibility QA Tester to join their team. As an Accessibility QA Tester, you will be part of the Accessibility Team supporting various projects aimed at enhancing user experience for all. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Accessibility QA Tester
**Location:** Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite)
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct thorough accessibility testing for web-based applications and Windows desktop environments.
+ Utilize various assistive technologies to ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 and 2.1.
+ Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand and implement accessibility requirements.
+ Prepare detailed reports documenting identified accessibility violations and suggest actionable solutions.
+ Engage in agile methodologies to manage and prioritize testing tasks effectively.
**What's Needed?**
+ 5-6 years of experience with WCAG 2.0 and 2.1.
+ Expertise in using defect tracking tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
+ Proficiency in assistive technologies like JAWS, Voiceover, or Talkback.
+ Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
+ Experience in preparing detailed documentation and reports.
