Role OverviewAs an Access Control Technician, you perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure gates and other access control measures of a multimillion-dollar, multifamily apartment home community are working properly.
The People Person
Document and communicate services performed and any outstanding issues or items to the community management teamInteract with vendors and outside service providers to order parts, outsource services, or escalate service requests unable to be performed in-house; oversee work performed by outside providers to ensure accuracy and efficiencyDevelop and lead onsite trainings for service teams in the effective operation and repair of access control systemsThe Technician
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning gate and access control systems; may include welding, pulling wire, changing bearings and rollers, reviewing program software, cutting loops, etc.Install automated gate and access control systems; implement testing to ensure proper installationCreate, schedule, and implement access control system preventative maintenance programsRead, interpret, and work from manufacturer-provided plans, drawings and specificationsThe Impact You Can Make
