We are seeking a skilled Access Control Technician Level 2 to join our team. This role involves the installation, configuration, and maintenance of access control systems, ensuring all work aligns with company standards and compliance regulations.
ResponsibilitiesIndependently install and configure access control systems, panels, controllers, and network connections.Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for hardware and system issues.Assist in system programming, database setup, and integrations with security systems.Interpret door schedules, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings.Provide guidance and training to Apprentice and Level 1 Technicians.Coordinate with project managers, clients, and site contractors.Maintain detailed as-built drawings and daily job reports.Ensure all work meets company quality standards, NEC, and OSHA compliance.Essential SkillsMinimum 2 years of experience in access control or low-voltage system installations.Strong knowledge of troubleshooting techniques, controllers, and lock hardware.Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation accurately.Experience with access control systems such as Lenel and Axis.OSHA 10 certification required to start.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam is a plus.Strong communication and organization skills.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.OSHA 30 certification required within 90 days of hire.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic team where your expertise is valued and your growth is encouraged.
