**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Abrasive Blasters** for projects located in and around **San Diego, CA** . This is a second shift opportunity with a pay range of **up to $30/hour** based on experience and skill level. If you are an Abrasive Blaster and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Installing protective masking and containment systems + Setting up, operating, and maintaining abrasive blasting and dust collection equipment + Performing surface prep to specified cleanliness standards + Operating blast media recovery systems and completing final surface cleaning before coating application + Other related tasks as assigned **Requirements:** + Minimum of 1 years abrasive blasting or SSPC C7 Certification (accredited) + Able to pass a drug screen and background check + OSHA-10 Maritime and Firewatch (prior to start) + Must pass Respirator Fit Test + Must be knowledgeable in surface preparation procedures and safe equipment operation + Tools of the trade + Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently (up to 100 lbs with assistance) + Perform standing, balancing, climbing, kneeling, bending, crawling, and working in confined spaces or reclined positions as needed + Maintain safety awareness and hazard avoidance **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
