Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Abatement Worker to join our team and perform essential processes involving the removal, abatement, and disturbance of asbestos materials. This role requires adherence to safety regulations and company policies while ensuring effective communication with team members, supervisors, and clients.
ResponsibilitiesPerform abatement processes including removal, abatement, and disturbance of asbestos materials.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirators.Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project completion.Identify and address safety hazards to maintain a safe work environment.Participate in required industry training and update certifications as needed.Essential SkillsCurrent Asbestos Worker Certification.Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.Ability to work in diverse and challenging conditions (e.g., tight spaces, overhead work, exposure to fumes).Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Physical ability to regularly lift 50 pounds independently and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with hand tools, power tools, and general labor.Skills in supervision, construction, and carpentry.Why Work Here

Work Environment
The role requires the ability to work in various environmental conditions, including tight spaces and heights. You will regularly lift and carry heavy materials and work with hand and power tools. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining safety standards and following protocols.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $71000.00/yr.
