Job Title: A/P Process Documentation Consultant
Job Description
We are seeking an A/P Process Documentation Consultant to effectively document Accounts Payable processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role involves assessing and capturing current AP functions across three different ERP systems, identifying process gaps, and suggesting areas for improvement. You will align policies and procedures to ensure consistency and best practices across all locations, and provide analysis and recommendations for process improvements.
Responsibilities
Document Accounts Payable processes and Standard Operating Procedures.Assess and capture current AP functions across multiple ERP systems.Identify process gaps and areas for improvement.Align policies and procedures for consistency across locations.Provide analysis and suggestions for process improvements.Act as a knowledge source for process changes and gaps.Potentially manage an AP functional area in the future state.Essential Skills
Extensive experience as an Accounts Payable Subject Matter Expert.Strong background in process documentation and transformation.Proficiency with Visio for creating workflow diagrams.Familiarity with RACI models for process documentation.Understanding of SIPOC framework for process design.Ability to execute changes effectively, not just consult.Demonstrated stability in previous roles, ideally with a minimum of four years at a company.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in working with multiple ERP systems.Capacity for strategic thinking and aligning processes with best practices.Work Environment
This is a remote-based role with frequent travel to various sites, primarily the location in Alpharetta, GA. You will work in a collaborative environment where you are encouraged to take initiative and drive improvements.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alpharetta, GA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr.
