A&P Mechanic

Aerotek on behalf of it's client is seeking A&P Mechanic's to work in a MRO environment in Salt Lake City, Utah. Aircraft includes Bombardier and Gulfstream products. Compensation: $35–$40. $40+ for 2+years with proven corporate/business jet experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks including airframe, powerplant, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics system inspections and repairs.Conduct detailed troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify mechanical and electrical faults, and implement corrective actions in accordance with FAA-approved data.Execute component replacements, system calibrations, and functional tests to verify operational integrity and compliance with manufacturer maintenance manuals.Utilize technical documentation, engineering drawings, and schematics to guide repair and modification procedures with precision and accuracy.Maintain clear and consistent communication with supervisors and maintenance control regarding job progress, discrepancies, and completion timelines.Document all maintenance actions, parts usage, and inspection results in accordance with company policies and FAA recordkeeping requirements.Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental controls within the maintenance facility.Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to team-based problem-solving efforts.QualificationsValid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificationMinimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably on corporate or regional jet platforms such as Bombardier, Embraer, or GulfstreamProficient in interpreting and applying manufacturer maintenance instructions, service bulletins, and FAA regulationsStrong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems including engines, flight controls, and electrical subsystemsSkilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment commonly used in aircraft maintenanceExceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety and regulatory complianceAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentWork Environment

This position is based in a modern aviation maintenance facility equipped with advanced tooling, diagnostic systems, and climate-controlled workspaces. Technicians are expected to follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. The schedule is structured to support operational efficiency while promoting work-life balance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
