A&P Mechanic
**Job Title: A&P Mechanic** Job Description Join our repair station dedicated to servicing small corporate and general aviation clients. As an A&P Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our aircraft through meticulous inspection and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities + Conduct inspections of aircraft systems to detect wear, defects, and other issues. + Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks according to regulations and safety procedures. + Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in aircraft systems and components. + Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulations. + Assist with a variety of tasks around the hangar as needed. + Follow maintenance manual criteria depending on maintenance cycle. Essential Skills + Possession of an A&P license with over 2 years of experience in corporate, turbo prop, or general aviation maintenance. + Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and engine-driven components. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with King Air, Honda, Citations airframes, and Pratt and Whitney PT6 engines is ideal but not required. + Experience with Textron products is a plus. + Military individuals with new A&P certifications are encouraged to apply. Work Environment Located in Baton Rouge, LA, our leading Aircraft Sales & Service solutions provider offers a comprehensive 'one-stop-shop' experience. The hangar houses 18 team members and minimal office staff, ensuring a varied and non-repetitive work experience with different types of planes and issues. Employees are assigned tasks by the lead and work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with potential overtime depending on workload. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
