Job Description
We are seeking a skilled 5 Axis CNC Machinist Programmer to produce precision machined parts for prototypes. The role involves MasterCam programming, CNC programming and setting up CNC milling machines using Mikron, Doosan, Fadal, Fanuc, and Heidenhain controls. A high-level understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T is essential, along with the ability to perform dimensional inspection using gauges and calipers.
ResponsibilitiesProgram and set up CNC milling machines using MasterCam.Produce precision machined parts for prototypes using 5 Axis CNC Programming.Operate Mikron, Doosan, Fadal, Fanuc, and Heidenhain controls.Perform dimensional inspection with hand-held inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Ensure conformance to blueprint specifications and dimensional tolerances.Troubleshoot setup issues and verify first parts on CNC machines.Handle materials such as titanium, stainless steel, and aluminum.Essential SkillsProficiency in MasterCam programming and Camplete.Experience in CNC 5-axis mill programming.Knowledge of G-codes & M-Codes and GD&T.Ability to read blueprints and understand dimensional tolerancing.Experience working in the aerospace and defense industry.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Fanuc, Fadal, and Heidenhain controls.Understanding of machining techniques and methods.Capability to analyze files and models for programming.Why Work Here?

The work hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.00 - $45.00/hr.
