3rd shift Sanitation Associate

The Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment within a controlled indoor growing facility. This role ensures all growing areas, equipment, and common spaces meet strict food safety and sanitation standards to support the production of lettuce, microgreens, and other fresh produce.

3rd shift Sanitation Associate Details:

Temp-to-Hire position$17.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredThird Shift (Sunday through Thursday from 10:00pm to 06:30am)Clean and sanitize growing rooms, racks, trays, tools, and equipment according to established food safety proceduresWash and disinfect harvest bins, containers, and processing surfacesFollow sanitation schedules for daily, weekly, and deep-clean tasksSafely handle and properly dilute cleaning chemicalsRemove plant debris, waste, and packaging materials from production areasMaintain clean floors, drains, walls, and workstationsSupport compliance with food safety regulations Document cleaning activities and complete required sanitation logsReport maintenance or safety concerns to supervisorsFollow all PPE and hygiene requirements in a food production environment

3rd shift Sanitation Associate Qualifications:

Previous sanitation, janitorial, or warehouse cleaning experience preferredExperience in food production, agriculture, or controlled-environment growing is a plusAbility to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety protocolsComfortable working in humid, wet, or temperature-controlled environmentsAbility to lift up to 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and commitment to cleanlinessPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
