Job Title: 3rd Shift Mixer
Job Description

This position involves working as a Level 2 Mixer on the 3rd shift, where you will receive initial and ongoing training in various processing rooms, including the 6-pass, 1-pass, Dry Room, and Corn Room. The role requires accurate assembly of ingredients and the recording of details on production paperwork. You will need to follow blending sheet instructions accurately while maintaining a strong food safety culture and adhering to production and warehousing standards.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble and record all ingredients accurately on production paperwork.Follow step-by-step instructions on blending sheets.Maintain food safety culture concerning food defense, quality, and cGMPs.Consistently assemble paperwork, boxes, and sight standards accurately.Utilize scales appropriately, including providing power, calibrating, and ensuring accurate measurements.Stack boxes orderly for palletizing.Read and understand product codes and lot numbers.Find and use proper screens for Swecos and Comils.Operate equipment including belts, Swecos, Comils, and metal detectors.Perform CCP checks per SOP and document non-compliance issues.Conduct quality checks to ensure products match sight standards.Master sanitization processes, including cleaning, breaking down, and reassembling equipment.Follow all sanitization and food safety policies and procedures.Maintain GMP housekeeping practices to ensure a clean and safe workspace.Essential Skills6 months to 1 year of experience in food production mixing, blending, or compounding.Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the day.Ability to read and follow recipe lists with specific measurements.Trained and certified in stand-up forklift operation.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in food production is a plus.Knowledge of packaging, packing, palletizing, bagging, food handling, sealing, and mixing.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
