Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting various engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent teamwork abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician
**Location:** Jacksonville, FL
**Pay Range: 23-28 depending on experience**
**Shift:** 3rd shift
**What's the Job?**
+ Support maintenance activities and technical work while assisting the Engineering Team with various projects.
+ Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in a high-speed production environment.
+ Interpret and program PLC/HMI systems, including Allen Bradley and SLC family using RS Logix 500 software.
+ Conduct breakdown and failure analysis to identify root causes and implement solutions.
+ Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and equipment functionality.
**What's Needed?**
+ At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in packaging or high-speed production.
+ Proficiency in electrical and electronic systems, including AC/DC motors, frequency drives, and wiring.
+ Experience with mechanical systems such as pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
+ Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
