Job Title: 3rd Shift Coating OperatorJob Description

Join our team as a 3rd Shift Coating Operator, a crucial role in the initial stages of the foil making process. You will work the third shift, handling aluminum rolls of coated films in a vacuum metalizer, ensuring quality and efficiency.

ResponsibilitiesLoad paper rolls onto the machine.Maintain quality and machinery efficiency during operation.Clean, set up, and operate the metallizer according to scheduled sequences, process sheets, and work instructions.Perform quality inspections of end-of-roll samples.Accurately record all necessary process and quality documentation.Package finished materials after the process is complete.Operate a forklift and conduct routine maintenance.Essential Skills1+ years of machine operating experience.Safety-first mindset.Basic understanding of the paper industry.Ability to operate a forklift.Experience with computers and the ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.3-5 years of manufacturing experience is ideal.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where you will be on your feet for an 8-hour shift. You'll train and work alongside another machine operator in the foiling department. The third shift hours are from 11 PM to 7 AM, with a differential of $1.25.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newburyport, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
