Job Title: 3rd Shift - Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled machine operators to join our production team. The role involves operating a variety of production machinery to produce high-quality materials for both internal and external customers. Positions are available for different experience levels, from those with some machine operating experience to those with extensive technical expertise.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.Properly handle materials throughout the production process, minimizing waste.Follow all quality and security protocols, including product inspection, splicing techniques, and proper labeling.Complete necessary paperwork accurately to ensure proper recording of time and materials.Enter production data into MRP systems and other databases.Review job specifications to determine final product requirements, ensuring the product meets appearance and performance standards.Verify accuracy of materials and supplies used, including print plates, inks, coatings, and dies.Examine products for defects and correct issues to maintain target quality.Work from blueprints, production orders, and other instructions to complete jobs.Participate in ongoing training to improve skills and knowledge.Follow security guidelines, including handling security products and waste disposition.

Essential Skills

Experience in machine operation and general production processes.Proficiency in using hand tools and general labor tasks.Ability to perform assembly, packaging, and product inspection.Strong troubleshooting skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
