Under the guidance of the Production Supervisor, you will operate as a versatile member of the production team, ensuring that the processes meet the standards of quality and output. You will work with various production machinery to produce high-quality materials for both internal and external customers.
ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and maintain production equipment including the Transaction Card Editor & Inspector, and Die cutter.Maintain the production schedule and communicate any changes in planned work.Properly handle materials throughout the production process.Minimize waste and adhere to safety procedures.Follow quality and security protocols including product inspection, splicing techniques, and proper identification and labeling of finished products.Complete necessary paperwork during and at the end of each job to ensure proper recording of time and materials.Enter production data into MRP systems and other databases.Review job specifications to determine desired final product requirements, including product appearance and performance.Verify the accuracy of materials and supplies used to complete jobs, including print plates, print cylinders, inks, coatings, and dies.Examine products for defects and correct as necessary.Work from blueprints, production orders, and other written or oral instructions.Inspect all materials furnished for jobs to finished product stage, and properly store overrun or leftover products.Participate in training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.Follow building security guidelines, including proper handling of security products and waste.Essential SkillsExperience in machine operation and production.Proficiency in general production and machine operating tasks.Ability to use hand tools, perform general labor, assembly, packaging, and inspection.Troubleshooting skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsAttention to detail in print quality and placement.Ability to operate a rewinder/slitter for inspecting Transaction Card OVD images.Experience in examining products for defects and ensuring proper splicing techniques.Ability to verify the quality of all assigned products and inspect finished reels of OVD foil.Why Work Here?Join a leading industrial technology company known for providing proprietary and trusted technology solutions to secure, detect, and authenticate what matters most to customers.
