Caterpillar is seeking a 3rd Shift Logistics Production Manager in Sanford, NC. In this role, you will collaborate with the team and maintaining and improving processes and systems and the manufacturing of the products produced in the facility. Further you will analyze and recommend current and future systems procedures and equipment needs based on manufacturing requirements.
What you can look forward to doing in this role:
Monitors and improves shop floor safety, aggressively eliminates unsafe processesAssures fixtures, tooling and processes are followed to meet production schedulesDetermines priorities and sequences jobsSchedules and prioritizes constrained resources, and adjusts staffing to meet flow and customer requirementsDetermines and executes disciplinary action when appropriateProcures and distributes production material to meet schedulesProcures and distributes production material to meet schedulesEnsures preventive maintenance is performed according to scheduleImplements, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification and othersEvaluates, assess, identifies and leads the deployment of workforce trainingSection Value Stream Mapping
A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills and have:
A working knowledge of Process Improvement: Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintains focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.A working knowledge in Talent Management: Knowledge of human resources and talent management processes; ability to lead, motivate, evaluate, and reward employees at the workplace.A working knowledge of Manufacturing Operations: Knowledge of manufacturing operations; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility for products.

Summary Pay Range:
$81,370.00 - $122,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
