**Job Title: LEAD/Back-up Supervisor**
**Job Description**
Lead and manage a team of approximately 30 production employees in an assigned Value Stream. This role involves training, directing, conducting performance reviews, and mentoring team members to enhance their performance. You will oversee daily production activities to ensure commitments are met and improvements are implemented.
**Responsibilities**
+ Directly lead and manage production employees, including training and performance reviews.
+ Oversee day-to-day production activities within the value stream(s).
+ Utilize process center communication boards to handle daily performance.
+ Collaborate with human resources to ensure proper procedures and practices in employee relations.
+ Act as a change agent to eliminate waste using Lean methodology.
+ Ensure a clean and safe working environment, supporting safety programs.
+ Review and submit payroll hours weekly, entering exception hours as needed.
+ Support new process and product development and implementation.
+ Develop key improvement projects and fulfill related duties as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical aptitude through work experience, schooling, or personal hobbies.
+ 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
+ 1+ years of leadership experience.
+ Experience with automated manufacturing systems preferred.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
+ 2-year or 4-year degree preferred.
+ Interest in manufacturing and ability to ask insightful questions.

**Work Environment**
Work in a very clean, smoke-free environment within an extremely large company with three separate buildings. The building is not air-conditioned, so be prepared for this aspect. The role involves working on an assembly line, and smoking is not permitted on campus as breaks are paid, and leaving the campus is not allowed.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, MN.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
