**Job Title: 3rd Shift Coating Operator** **Job Description** The Coating Operator is an essential role in the foil making process, responsible for the application of aluminum rolls of coated films in a vacuum metalizer during the third shift. Candidates will work within the paper industry, operating machinery to maintain quality and efficiency while performing routine maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Operate and maintain machinery efficiently during the foil coating process. + Assist in loading paper rolls onto the machine. + Clean, set up, and operate the metallizer as per scheduled sequence and work instructions. + Perform quality inspections of end-of-roll samples. + Record necessary process and quality documentation accurately and timely. + Package finished materials post-process completion. + Conduct routine maintenance on machinery. + Operate a forklift as necessary. **Essential Skills** + Machine operating experience is required. + Safety-first mindset is essential. + Basic understanding of the paper industry is preferred. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with computers and ability to follow SOPs. + HS Diploma or equivalent is required. + 1+ years of experience in machine operation or manufacturing. + 3-5 years of manufacturing experience is ideal. + Ability to be trained in the role. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that is dedicated to making brands shine by producing top-quality foils, films, and laminates. Employees will be trained and work alongside another machine operator in the foiling department, contributing to a collaborative and industrious atmosphere. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newburyport, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
