PRIMARY FUNCTION

Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to ensure quality assurance protocols and procedures are fully implemented and executed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Create quality measurements to track improvement in productExecute quality improvement testing and activitiesDevelop quality assurance standards and company processesAdhere to industry quality and safety standardsEnsure products meet customer expectations and demandCreate reports documenting errors and issues for fixingWork closely with the development team to improve existing productsMaintain standards for reliability and performance of productionSupport customer required auditsEvaluate root cause and corrective action responses

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will not have any direct reports

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Skill using Microsoft Office Suite; intermediate level skills with MS Project or other project scheduling related software required.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write detailed reports and correspondenceAbility to brief multi-functional audiencesExcellent interpersonal skills to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff.Will also routinely interact with external contacts such as customers, vendors, suppliers, shipping companies, etc.Must be trustworthy – will handle confidential information routinelyAbility to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, etc.Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate data and consider decision impact across multiple areas.Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management and regulatory agenciesAbility to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to goals.Ability to perform basic mathematical computations, detect unobvious facts and issues, and exercise resourcefulness in resolving problems.Must be able to work independently and stay on task with minimal supervisionAbility to multi-task and stay on target with meeting milestones and goalsExperience with warehousing best practicesExperience with Lean Six Sigma tools is a plusFamiliar with government contracting terminologyAccustomed with working in a represented workforce environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field or; High School Diploma or Equivalent with minimum of 3 years’ experiencePrevious government contracting experience managing a multi-million-dollar budgetAbility to pass a drug and background screeningMust be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
