Welder – 3G MIG/Flux Core 1st Shift

We are seeking a skilled 3G Welder with strong MIG and Flux Core experience to join our team. In this role, you’ll set up and operate advanced welding equipment, perform high-quality welds, and help eliminate scrap, rework, and downtime. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all work meets strict quality standards and customer specifications, while consistently demonstrating safe work practices and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and follow welding procedures and work instructions.

Inspect finished welds to ensure completeness and compliance with all quality assurance standards.

Safely operate all advanced welding equipment.

Set up, troubleshoot, and make adjustments to welding machines to maintain production quality.

Participate in improvement initiatives, offering input into welding procedure modifications to increase safety, efficiency, and overall quality.

Communicate and coordinate effectively with all departments.

 Qualifications

Must be able to pass an open-root 3G MIG/Flux Core fill-and-cap weld test

Minimum 2 years of MIG and Flux Core welding experience

Safety training

Ability to read a tape measure and perform intermediate math

Ability to read/interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions

Strong defect detection and quality-focused mindset
