**Job Title: 2pm Put Away** Job Description This role involves managing and organizing merchandise in a warehouse setting. Key tasks include generating manifests, interpreting warehouse documents, sorting and relocating merchandise, verifying documentation, and assembling customer orders. The position operates under direct supervision and follows established guidelines for receiving, storing, and distributing materials. Responsibilities + Generate manifests to dispatch and confirm customer and/or stock orders. + Interpret various warehouse documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. + Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise from receiving or production areas to other designated areas. + Verify merchandise documentation and record incoming merchandise by part and quantity. + Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to a predetermined sequence. + Prepare products for distribution within facilities. + Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets, shelves, or conveyors for packing or shipping. + Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. + Create and enter records for the manifest on the warehouse computer system. Essential Skills + Fluent in English: read, write, and speak. + 0-6 months of warehouse experience preferred. + No certification required; will certify on CROWN trucks upon permanent hire. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with RF scanners. + Skills in picking, packing, and shipping. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is set in a fast-paced warehouse with narrow aisles navigated by forklifts and hand carts. Safety is prioritized, and the environment is non-climate controlled. Closed-toe shoes are required, and cellphones or electronics are not permitted in the warehouse. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
