Job Description
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Welder Fabricator to join our team. You will be responsible for welding and fabricating steel staircases, railings, and other structural components. This position operates from 4:00 pm to 3:00 am, Monday through Friday, with a 10% shift premium. Occasionally, the schedule may be Monday through Thursday, and you can expect to work 45-55 hours per week. No weekends are required.
Responsibilities
Weld and fabricate steel staircases, railings, and other structural components.Grind and perform repair welds on finished handrails.Utilize a hand grinder and polisher, as well as welding equipment.Move and load products after shipments are completed.Handle materials including steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum.Essential Skills
Proficiency in MIG welding and fabrication.Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.2+ years of experience in grinding and polishing.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with TIG welding is a plus.Experience with structural steel and fixtures.Work Environment
This is a very fast-paced work environment, where everyone is expected to stay on task to achieve shipment goals. The team is close-knit, hard-working, and holds each other accountable. A work-first attitude is essential to fit in. Employees support the miscellaneous steel department and are expected to deliver their best performance. The work schedule is 4:00 pm to 3:00 am, Monday through Friday, with no weekend work, offering a 10% shift premium.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
