Job Title: 2nd Shift Warehouse WorkerJob Description

A distribution company that manufactures automotive parts is seeking a dedicated and long-term shipping clerk/warehouse worker for their 2nd shift. The role involves receiving, restocking inventory, dispatch, and handling overstock from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays.

ResponsibilitiesReceive and restock inventory, manage dispatch, and handle overstock.Load and unload materials from trucks efficiently.Break down boxes and package items for shipment.Utilize order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders.Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed.Package items securely for shipment.Pick orders utilizing stairs to access materials for the automotive industry.Essential SkillsProficiency in using RF scanners and order pickers.Experience in packaging, pallet jacks, and shipping & receiving.Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds frequently, and 100 pounds occasionally.Additional Skills & QualificationsComfortable using a rolling safety ladder, with occasional use of a 15-step stair ladder.Ability to speak, read, and write English.Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms.Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or squatting.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and self-motivated.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is typically loud due to forklifts and machinery operating throughout the facility. The dress code includes plain shirts, jeans without holes, and closed-toed shoes. The role involves working the 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime and occasional Saturdays. Employees will utilize RF scanners and rolling ladders with up to 15 steps.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
