Job Description
A distribution company specializing in the manufacturing of automotive parts is seeking a dedicated and long-term shipping clerk/warehouse worker.
Responsibilities
Receive, restock inventory, and dispatch orders.Load and unload materials from trucks.Break down boxes and package items for shipment.Utilize order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders.Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed.Pick orders using stairs to reach materials for the automotive industry, with stairs ranging from 7 to 15 steps.Package items for shipment.Essential Skills
Proficient in using RF scanners.Experience with picking, packing, and packaging.Familiarity with pallet jack operations.Understanding of shipping and receiving processes.Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.Comfortable utilizing rolling safety ladders and occasionally a 15 ft stair ladder.Ability to speak, read, and write English.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms.Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squat.Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is typically loud due to machinery such as forklifts operating within the facility. The 2nd shift runs from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with mandatory overtime up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Employees are required to wear plain shirts, jeans without holes, and closed-toed shoes.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
