2nd Shift Supervisor **Sedona Staffing Services** 0 Positions ID: 53378106 Posted On 12/11/2025 Refreshed On 01/11/2026 **Job Overview** **2nd Shift Supervisor** Location: Dyersville, IA Wage: $29/hr or Salary Direct Hire **Responsibilities** + Lead shift operations while performing hands-on production and equipment duties. + Operate, monitor, and adjust production lines to maintain quality, specifications, and efficient product flow. + Start up and manage key equipment (steam generators, air compressors) and select proper processing recipes. + Verify raw material quality, complete changeovers, and ensure accurate line setup. + Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime. + Operate forklifts/hoists to move and document WIP materials. + Complete all production and quality documentation accurately. + Enforce GMPs, safety standards, and food safety compliance. + Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure end-of-shift housekeeping. **Qualifications** + 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing. + Strong understanding of production/packaging lines, equipment start-up, and troubleshooting. + Effective communicator with ability to lead teams and manage minor conflicts. + Proficient in completing production and quality paperwork. + Certified to operate forklifts and powered pallet jacks. + Basic computer skills for data entry and schedule review. + Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for shifts, and perform repetitive motions. + Ability to balance supervision with hands-on work.
