Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 to $22.00 /hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Friday from 02:00pm to 10:00pm)Review production schedules and work orders to determine job requirements.Set up and operate slitting machines, including loading coils and monitoring material flow.Perform quality checks on slits to ensure compliance with specifications.Report defects, obtain approval for corrections, and document approvals.Record production data and track delays (maintenance, setup, quality, etc.).Communicate with team members to maintain workflow and accurate product labeling.Follow all safety protocols, report hazards, and assist with housekeeping and maintenance duties.2nd Shift Slitter Operator Qualifications:
Knowledge of slitting machine operation and related equipment.Ability to read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and quality standards.Skilled in using measuring tools (micrometers, tape measures) and operating equipment (forklifts, jib cranes).Strong focus on safety, quality, and minimizing material waste.Basic math and problem-solving abilities.Must be fluent in English (spoken and written).Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
