Job Description
This role is for a 2nd Shift Production Worker in a dynamic and fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The position operates from 2:30pm to 10:30pm with potential variations in the production schedule. The production team may require overtime based on business needs, including weekends.
ResponsibilitiesInspect and hand stack cases on skids or mods of like product using stacking pattern as a guide.Shrink wrap skids from top to bottom, ensuring the wrap does not touch the floor.Notify the Operator/Supervisor of any problems or concerns.Clean and organize work area and monitor tape machine, replacing tape as needed while using Kevlar gloves.Feed boards into the Extruder, ensuring perfect alignment without gaps or overlaps, and remove any imperfect candy.Disassemble/reassemble and clean extruders as required, performing screen checks and adhering to all safety procedures.Perform relief crew coverage tasks, including cleaning washrooms, extruder screens, extruders, and general housekeeping.Essential SkillsUnderstanding of all lockout procedures.Proficiency in the English language.Good time management skills.Ability to work independently and in a group environment.Skill in identifying bad boards or candy.Experience with Metal Sprint Team Training.Proficiency in machine disassembly and reassembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsGood interpersonal team skills.Good written and communication skills.Proper use of required company-issued uniforms, ear plugs, bump caps, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and slip-resistant safety toe shoes.Understanding and adherence to product requirements.Participation in stretches before and during shifts.High School Diploma or equivalent.Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred; food manufacturing experience is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work is performed in a climate-controlled food manufacturing plant with slippery/wet floors. The position requires a commitment period of 6 months. Employees are expected to wear uniforms and safety gear such as ear plugs, bump caps, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and slip-resistant safety toe shoes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
